spaces. The house is situated on a enormous 14 hectare estate,
comprises of gardens, allotments, cultivated areas of volcanic
ash and fruit trees...leading directly to the mountains and
the Natural Park of La Geria. For those who enjoy hiking,

The
essence of la Geria, for its wine, water and cultivation.
- There is a well of drinking water in the house, which filters
through volcanic ash from the Gaida mountain and is collected
in a small well. Guests may use this delicious water for drinking,
cooling, ..etc.
- A traditional wine cellar where the guests can taste the
malvasía wine, made by the house owners.
- The cultivated land surrounding the house, which is covered
ash(picón), to stop the moisture from evaporating,
produce vegetables and seasonal fruit.
|
Visual space.- Incredible scenery can be seen from the house,
with views out onto the mountains, sea, Arrecife, Puerto del
Carmen and the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura. Being
a sparcely populated village with little illumination the
uninhibited beauty of the sky is there to behold; making the
view at night seem like something taken from a Fairytale.
